Following on from my initial logo design for the NT Library in 2017, I was more recently approached by Library & Archives NT to refresh their brand to accommodate site-specific identities for the various locations across the Territory.
The timing of the project coincided with the need to address wayfinding and signage at the new Northern Territory Library location set to be in the Charles Darwin Education & Community Precinct in the Darwin CBD.
Using an early draft of the wayfinding strategy to inform the brief, new assets were developed to support and enhance the brand experience in the physical environment.
The refreshed identity allows the brand to remain strong and identifiable across all three public sites, while providing differentiation between the site-specific brands. A comprehensive guideline addressing all site-brands was developed which included best practice application examples.
