A Jawoyn Association event, the Nitmiluk Festival is a week-long celebration of Jawoyn country, culture and community in the Nitmiluk and Katherine region.
Being a new festival, Jawoyn Association required an entirely new logo and supporting visual identity that would engage, inform, and foster a sense of pride and ownership within the community.
A unique wordmark was designed for the logo which features a wavy dotted line through the type, a subtle nod to the Jawoyn Association identity. Keeping the logo strong and simple allowed for the supporting identity to come alive, bringing excitement and energy to all festival materials.
The vibrant suite of brand illustrations showcase the festival's diverse events and activities, celebrating the region’s culture through song, dance, food and story.
